Hospitality 101:
It's the little things that make the difference.....
- You represent the face of the company to the world (ie guests, non-guests, restaurant employees, etc) always look and act like a true professional. Look sharp and be sharp!
- Always:
- Follow procedures listed on the Team Page. Every location is different so check out the details before going to a new location.
- Smile
- Open every door possible (drivers site, passenger, restaurant door, etc)
- Deliver a strong "Welcome to ________ , my name is _______. If you need anything let me know."
- Refer to guests as Sir/Ma'am
- **Mention our text-ahead service to guests on the way in**
- Greet every guest as they walk by.
- Make conversation with guests as they are waiting for their vehicle (ask how dinner was, have the been to the location before, if they are from the area, etc). Note: If a guest is not conversational, don't force it.
- Have at least one valet at the podium (when possible).
- Be courteous to all guests even if they aren't valeting with you (IE Opening the restaurant door, saying hello, etc).
- Place cell phone inside the Podium until the completion of your shift.
- Never:
- Argue or be rude to a guest or teammate, even if they are being unruly. If you need assistance dealing with an upset guest, stay calm and let them know you have to defer to a manager.
- Never divert from the procedures listed on the Team Site unless you have approval from our management.
- Refer to guests as "Man/Dude/Bro" (NEVER EVER!!)
- Use greetings like "Hi Guys/Hey There" (NEVER EVER!!)
